Commented Unassigned: A DLL is required [25332]

Hi everyone,

I'm getting this message(please see attached .JPG file) everytime when I try and install the virtual router.
I'm running on windows 8.1. This message appeared when I had windows 7 as well.

Is there a .DLL file I can download or something?

Please provide hyperlinks if possible.

Thanks.

After successfuly using Virtual Router (v1.0) on Windows7 if I stop it and start it again I get this error:

> An operation is blocked waiting for an oplock. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800702FD)

:

![Image](https://raw.github.com/sapeish/bugreports/master/virtualwirelessrouter/virtualrouterbug01.png)

Cheking the Network Connections the adapter is active but without connection:

![Image](https://raw.github.com/sapeish/bugreports/master/virtualwirelessrouter/virtualrouterbug02.png)

To workaround this I can manually edit my current internet connection adapter properties and share the connection with the Virtual Wireless Router adapter and it works fine.

I can see no reason why the program could not do that automatiacally...

I also have the same problem and have tried many ways to get this to work. I am using Win 7 64bit. The youtube link, is not applicable as my adapters are all enabled.

I am on a corporate network, which has DHCP enabled.

Any ideas would be great.

Thanks.

Kevin.

In your issues section I followed up with the every single steps to resolve this problem but its of no use. It still shows me the same message.

I found the issue, using WinPatrol pro... i'm guessing you two are also on a 64bit system?
I've not found a way around this. other than i know it's not compatible with 64bit systems now.
It used to work for me too. really weird how it just all of the sudden stopped..

If you open up your network adapters window, and look, when you first open virtual router, and press start, it will show your ethernet as ",Shared" , then right before it gives you the error message, it changes where it deletes the "shared" part. the same goes for if you manually open up the ethernet adapter window, and change it manually by stating you want to share the internet. then it will stayed "shared" until you open VR again, and it will proceed to disable the shared thing again, and you will get that error once again.
It's disabling the shared part of it. something you all might want to try though(if you havent already), goto comand prompt with admin settings, and put in
netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow
in the system32 folder, and then try again with VR. if that doesn't work, your stuck in the same "boat" as me, and likely are running a 64bit verison of windows like i am.

Ditto:
Restarted computer per the second item in Documentation.
Braodcom DW1501 network card, on the supported list. Driver version is 5.100, which is greater than supported driver specified, 5.60.
Verified that the service is running in Services.

I am in the Administrators group.

So....

Originally my problem was that when I tried to run virtual router, there would be a message at the bottom saying "Can not manage Virtual Router. The Service is not running.".

So I tried the solution posted by jk1 https://virtualrouter.codeplex.com/workitem/24659

Trying this solution only made things worse, now instead of saying "Can not manage Virtual Router. The Service is not running.", windows just instantly comes up with an error message saying "Virtual Router Manager has stopped working" and tries to send an error report.

>Run virtual rooter as an administrator solved that problem on my computer

I added "Run as administrator" on the "Compatibility" tab of the "Properties" page (you might want to try spelling out solutions in future). This did NOT solve the problem for me on Windows 7.

When trying to start the VirtualRouter I get the messsage in the attachment below

"Operation blocked waiting for an oplock (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800702FD)

Rebooting system , stoping and restarting servivce , nothing resolves the issue. The router did work fine and has just started this behaviour.

The title is all it says. Literally, I hit Start Virtual Router after filling out an ssid and password, and that's it. I get a popup that says "Virtual Router Could Not Be Started" and nothing more. No reason, no details, no nothing.

Shared Connection is set to my wired LAN, which is to only option.

Oh yeah, this is a clean/fresh/virgin installation of the tool. Never used it before. I installed it literally 5 minutes ago.

Same issue on Windows 8.1 SL Russian. Could it be language/region related issue? Are there numbers parsing in configuration file, for instance, which is region specific?
